Basic information

Vallicella Glamping Resort is located in Tuscany, on the west coast of Italy, near the hills at the top of which lies the pretty Tuscan town of Scarlino. It is a small 3-star campsite offering mobile homes, glamping tents and pitches. The pitches range in size from 30 to 70 m2, all with electricity and the largest with water and drainage. The pitches are situated on a terraced hillside with plenty of shade from olive trees, oaks and cypresses. There are sanitary facilities in the campsite.

Dogs are allowed on pitches and in some mobile homes.

The campsite boasts an exceptional water park, the stand-out feature of which is the 125-metre-long artificial river that flows into the swimming pool. There is also a larger swimming pool and water playgrounds. In general, children are well catered for: there is a kids' club, an indoor playroom, workshops, horse-riding and various games and events for children. There is also plenty of recreation: you can rent a bike, play football, table tennis and beach volleyball, or go for a hike.

In the middle of Tuscany, good food is a given, and Camp Vallicella is no different: excellent pizzas, wine and other local specialities can be found in the on-site restaurant and in the surrounding area. There is also a well-stocked grocery shop inside the campsite.

The location of the campsite is also perfect for sea lovers, as it is just a 10-minute drive from the nearest beaches, and Piombino is nearby, with its port from where you can head to the island of Elba.

Mobile homes description

The camp offers mobile homes in different capacities. They have 2 to 3 bedrooms and can accommodate 4 to 6 people. All are air-conditioned and fully equipped, and the larger units even have 2 bathrooms. There is a covered terrace in front of the chalets with chairs, a table and sun loungers.

Pets are allowed in some cottages - please check before booking. Free WiFi is available in the cottages.

Glamping description

The glamping units at the campsite come in a variety of imaginative shapes and sizes. From small units for couples to 3-bedroom units sleeping up to 6 people, they range from classic canvas tents to combinations of wooden structures with terraces and awnings. The larger units also have their own private bathrooms, while guests in the smaller tents use the camp's toilets.

Pets are not allowed in the glamping units.
