Camping Park Albatros Village is located on the west coast of Italy in Tuscany, near the island of Elba, a few kilometres south of San Vincenzo. It is an idyllic wooded patch close to the beach, measuring 22 hectares and accommodating over 5,500 guests. There are over 140 pitches and more than 230 mobile homes, as well as glamping tents and bungalows.
Pitches range in size from 35 to 100 m2: the smaller pitches are intended for tents and have electricity only, while the larger pitches have water and the Premium pitches also have a drain. There are sanitary facilities in the campsite, which are adapted for people with disabilities and have a children's area. There is also a laundry room, and a place where you can supply your camper with water and empty the waste tanks. There is also a common barbecue area.
Although the sea is not far, there's plenty of water fun within the campsite: 4 swimming pools - 2 shallow pools for children to play in and for taking a leisurely dip, and then there's a 50-metre Olympic pool and a 25-metre heated pool with a retractable roof where you can go for a good swim.
We mentioned the beach: about 1 km from the campsite is a natural beach with fine pebbles and sand. The beach is mostly bare, so we recommend bringing an umbrella and sun loungers.
The food and drink offer at the campsite is really rich and varied: several restaurants, bars, patisseries and a shop, a market and, of course, a gelateria provide a culinary offer with something for everyone. The restaurants also offer a take-away option.
ntertainment is also well catered for, with animation for young and old, an evening program and various live performances to keep you entertained, and they even organize guided exercise classes. Speaking of recreation, young and old can have fun in the games room and playgrounds, play football or volleyball, table tennis or billiards, hire a bike or go-kart, and the ultimate in fun is the campsite's adrenaline park.
If you're going on a day trip, Florence is less than 150 km away, Siena a little less, and much closer is the island of Elba, which you can reach from the nearby port of Piombino.
