Basic information

The campsite Parco delle Piscine is located near Sarteano, halfway between Florence and Rome, about 30 km south-west of Lake Trasimeno.

The campsite covers an area of 20 hectares and can accommodate about 1500 guests. It has over 400 pitches and more than 50 mobile homes, with a few glamping tents. There are 2 types of pitches: for tents and for caravans and motorhomes. The pitches are spacious (up to 110m2) and shady, all have electricity, and about 50 have water and drainage. All have free WiFi and pets are not allowed.

There are 2 larger sanitary blocks and several toilets near the swimming pools. The sanitary blocks are nice and functional, with hot water, and suitable for disabled people. You''l find washing machines there and a place to empty the chemical toilets and supply the motorhomes.

As the campsite has swimming pools in its name, so there is no surprise that there are two large 33x15 metre swimming pools, one of which is for the use of the campsite's guests only, while the other (with a waterfall) can be used by day visitors. A little further away, there is a smaller children's pool with a waterslide. Next to the pools, there is a restaurant serving typical Italian food and pizzas, and a bar with a patisserie. Sports enthusiasts are well catered for, with tennis and basketball courts and a multi-purpose court where you can play football. There is also an outdoor fitness area and a children's playground in a pleasant shaded area. Guided exercise classes and children's entertainment are organized in and by the pool, and there is a rich entertainment and evening program, as well as guided culinary excursions.

Sarteano has a market every Friday with fresh fruit, vegetables and other local produce.

Mobile homes description

Several types of mobile homes are available. You can choose between Type A and Type A Superior through our portal. These are older units with basic equipment, but they offer everything you need: 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and living area, and a spacious covered terrace with sun loungers and a set of table and chairs.

All mobile homes offer free WiFi (as elsewhere on the campsite) and air conditioning while pets are not allowed.
