Basic information

Orbetello Family Collection is uniquely located on a narrow strip of land linking the mainland to the Monte Argentario peninsula in the extreme south-west of Tuscany, between the sea and the Orbetello Lagoon.

It is a medium-sized, elongated campsite of about 8.5 hectares that can accommodate 1300 guests. Pitches, mobile homes, bungalows, glamping tents and luxury caravans are available. Pitches are equipped with electricity and measure from 60-80 m2. Dense trees provide excellent shade and your dog can stay with you. There are aesthetically pleasing toilets for pitch guests, with disabled access, laundry facilities, chemical toilet emptying and caravan servicing.

You can choose between the sandy sea beach to the west (the lagoon shore is not suitable for swimming) or the numerous swimming pools within the campsite. There are 5: one for swimming, one for children, 2 large jacuzzis and 1 with integrated hydromassage beds. There is also a dog area on the sandy beach - don't worry, they won't mess up your accommodation when you return, as there is a dog shower available for them.

The campsite also offers excellent activities, with entertainment for children and adults, a games room, sports courts and bike hire.

You won't go hungry either, with 2 excellent restaurants and a bar.

Although you're still in Tuscany, Florence is a little further from Camping Orbetello than other campsites in the region - around 200 km. Siena is a little closer, but the first priority is definitely to visit the charming town of Orbetello, on a peninsula in the middle of a lagoon, and the Monte Agrentario area, from where you can also visit the islands of Giglio and Giannutri (starting point: port of Santo Stefano).

Mobile homes description

There are 4 types of mobile homes, ranging in size from 25 to 36 m2 and accommodating 5 to 6 people. All except Lodge Superior Plus accept puppies.

The mobile homes are air-conditioned and have a terrace with table and chairs, some with sun loungers. Inside, there are 2 or 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, plus a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and sofa bed. Most units have satellite TV, and WiFi is available at the internet points (restaurants and common areas) in the campsite.

The Safari Luxe XL glamping tents measure 30 m2 and have 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. They can accommodate up to 5 people. There is a terrace in front of the tent with sun loungers or a table and chairs. Dogs are not allowed in the tents.
