The Easter and May holidays are approaching and you can visit two interesting towns in Istria, Vrsar and Rovinj. You can choose to camp or rent a mobile home, which is particularly suitable now in spring as it offers heated accommodation. Prices in April and May are up to 40% lower which means you can rent a mobile home from € 70 per night.

Maistra has a number of excellent campsites in Vrsar and Rovinj, which will open on Thursday, 17 April, while the Porto Sole campsite in Vrsar is open all year round.

Both destinations are great for seaside strolls, since you can walk to the old part of Vrsar or Rovinj from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea, and we especially recommend cycling.

From Vrsar, the route runs mostly along the sea past Funtana all the way to Poreč. As it is an asphalted path, separated from the road and without major inclines, it is also very suitable for family cycling. Cycling routes Vrsar >

From Rovinj, the best cycling route is towards south - past Campsite Polari to Camp Veštar, and then you can cycle on to Campsite Mon Perin and Barbariga. This is a gravel path, but nicely maintained, so even children will have no problem cycling. Rovinj cycle paths >

Mobile homes for Easter and May holidays

In spring, mobile homes are a great choice for camping, because it's too cold to camp with a tent, and mobile homes have air-conditioning for heating, as well as their own kitchen, bathroom, two or three bedrooms, a terrace, and more.

Campsites Valkanela and Porto Sole in Vrsar, Amarin, Polari and Veštar in Rovinj have special rates for renting mobile homes, valid until 28 May and also for the Easter holidays. Rental prices for 4 people start from € 70 per night.

Mobile homes are also suitable for holidays with a dog, as every Maistra campsite offers at least one type of mobile home where dogs are allowed, and the campsites also have dog beaches.

We should highlight some of the mobile homes and rental prices. In mobile homes at Maistra campsites the rental price includes bed linen, towels, air conditioning and final cleaning. There is an additional fee for the registration and the dog.

Rental prices are slightly higher for holidays and vacation periods, and lower outside these periods, e.g. mid-May.

Camping Valkanela, Vrsar - the newest Superior mobile homes for 2 or 4 people are located by the sea, but we recommend the Forest mobile homes for families, as there are children's play areas such as a model aeroplane, shark, climbing frames nearby... There are also large family homes with three bedrooms available. There is also a brand new sports center on site. Right next to the campsite is the Dino Park, which is a delight for children.

Camping Porto Sole, Vrsar - 2- or 3-bedroom homes available, some of them right by the sea. The campsite also has a festive entertainment for Easter, wellness bathrooms with jacuzzi or sauna, a renovated sports center right next to the campsite, and a great location with a mere 10-minute walk from the centre of Vrsar.

Campsite Amarin, Rovinj - one of the newest campsites, so the mobile homes are also very modern in their furnishings and facilities. The rental offer includes 2 or 3-bedroom houses. The location is perfect for visiting Rovinj, you can go by boat or by bike, and from the campsite there is an interesting cycling route along a well-maintained path above the Lim Canal.

Camping Polari, Rovinj - located on the south side of Rovinj and connected to the town by a path through a beautiful park, which is also suitable for cycling. It offers mobile homes with 2 or 3 bedrooms, some of them with a private jacuzzi on the terrace.

Camping Veštar, Rovinj - completely renovated in recent years, categorised with 5 stars. Along with children's play areas, they also have a new sports center and an interesting mini-golf course. Otherwise, a very quiet location by the sea, and Rovinj is about 6 km away, reachable by bike along the seaside path.
