Camper stop description

Camper stop Postojna Cave is arranged at the parking place only 200 meters in front of the entrance to the cave - 20 places for motorhomes. It is possible to connect to electricity, water, empty the waste water and chem toilet. The water is not accessible in the winter.

Location is great for visiting the Postojna cave, Predjama castle, as well as for cycling trips in the surroundings.

Postojna cave is one of the biggest Slovenian tourist attractions. It is especially known for rich world of the karst caves that are connected with train!

Visiting caves lasts about hour and a half, while train will take you through the caves, passages and spectacular halls - all together is about 5km long. In summer visits of the cave start every full hour between 9.00 and 18.00, while in winter you can enter the cave at 10h, 12h and 15h.

We recommend to visit also Predjama castle where you will meet mysterious castle that is located 123 meters above the ground in the rocks. It has more than 700m of vibrant history. In summer it is possible to visit also a cave beneath the castle.
