Camping on Cres Island

The rugged cliffs and wild beaches of Cres Island are surrounded by forested hills full of native species. The campsites there will amaze you.

The island of Cres is rich in diverse flora and fauna, and at its centre lies the freshwater Lake Vrana, the most important source of drinking water on the island. The island's hilly interior offers views of the lake, golden sunsets, the Adriatic Sea and, if you're lucky, dolphins. Cres is also home to white-headed vultures. This is a protected species for which Cres is an ideal natural habitat, and their ecological research centre is located on the east coast. Cres is one of the least populated islands in the Adriatic, so the whole island acts as a nature reserve.

Camping on Cres is therefore the perfect way to connect with nature. There you have the chance to escape from everyday life on pitches by the sea, directly under the stars or in mobile homes that blend in with the island's surroundings.
