There are two larger campsites on island Rab, campsites San Marino and Padova, and few smaller ones, like Lando resort, Wodenca and Zidine.

Since new ferry connection between islands Krk and Rab was established (Valbiska – Lopar), Rab has become even more popular destination. The other ferry connection option is on southern side of the island, connection Stinica – Misnjak, but connection through Krk is much easier. Check ferry to Rab prices and timetables.

Rab is mostly destination of the ones that are looking for peaceful holidays along nice beaches, there are many sandy beaches, while it is possible to find some beautiful naturist beaches on the northern side of the island. The larger summer event is Rabska fjera that yearly organized between 25 to 27 July. It’s main objective is to present how ancestors lived on the island, so the whole island returns couple of centuries in the past.

Camping Padova Premium Resort – camping and mobile homes by sandy beach

Camp’s Padova Premium Resort location is exclusive as it is located by sandy beach, while town Rab is walking distance away. It is as well possible to catch a boat taxi that will take you to the city for some cultural events and sightseeing. Campsite is middle-sized and as such great for children that cannot get lost.

In last season many features of the campsite have been renovated, they have arranged new camping pitches with electricity, water connection and sewage. Majority of the pitches are well shaded by pine trees. Sanitary facilities have been modernized, camper supply station is arranged.

Mobile homes in camping Padova are arranged on hill above the sea and at the back part of the camp. Last year new mobile homes were set – they are nicely decorated and providing lots of comfort. There are as well some older mobile homes available – smaller ones for 2 – 3 persons and larger for 4 – 6 persons.

New in Padova – swimming pools, central market and animation

Camping Padova will receive its 4th quality star due to all improvements and novelties in season 2019. In the central part of the campsite two new swimming pools will be built by June – one of them will have water playground and two slides. The other will be intended for adults. There will be sunbathing space around both of them. Water will be heated which is especially convenient in low season, in spring and autumn.

Along the rearranged part of the camping, sunbathing terrace will be arranged as well as central market with bars, shops and playground. In summer months family Maro animation activities will be offered, which will enrich current animation offer.
