Baia Holiday, which manages 16 campsites, has decided to extend the season in some of their campsites until the beginning of November, while the campsite near Rome will remain open throughout the winter.

Autumn can still be a beautiful time, perfect for camping or renting mobile homes set up in campsites, which is why Baia Holiday has decided to extend the season in some of their campsites.

Baia Holiday offers vacations in campsites across Italy, including four campsites on the beautiful island of Sardinia. In Croatia, they manage a campsite on the picturesque island of Mali Losinj. Additionally, they have campsites in Spain and France, providing a variety of locations for an unforgettable camping experience.

In some countries, the autumn school holidays take place at the end of October, so we checked which Baia Holiday campsites will remain open during that period.

Camping Poljana – Mali Lošinj (open until 4th November)

Mali Losinj is a great choice for autumn camping due to its milder climate compared to Istria or Kvarner. Just before the town, you’ll find Camping Poljana, which offers sunny camping pitches as well as modern mobile homes for 4-6 people.

The campsite features a shop, restaurant, children's playground, and a beachfront bar. There’s a walking and cycling path from the campsite to Mali Lošinj, where we recommend visiting the Apoxyomenos Museum and taking a trip to the viewpoint above the town.

Autumn camping prices in October start from €43 for 2 people, and mobile home rentals start at €71.

Camping Cavallino – Venice (open until 4th November & 6th December – 7th January)

Located on a long sandy beach on the peninsula near Venice, Camping Cavallino offers well-maintained pitches, mobile homes, and a wellness area with an indoor pool and saunas, exclusively for adults.

The campsite will be open until early November this year, and then again in December, especially for the Christmas and New Year holidays. The campsite features a shop and a restaurant, offers children's playgrounds, and the beach is ideal for long walks.

There are plenty of cycling paths nearby, including one through the lagoon to the north of Cavallino (Lio Piccolo). From Punta Sabbioni, you can take a boat trip to visit Venice and the islands of Murano and Burano.

Camping price for two starts from €50, and mobile home rentals for four from €80.

Camping Gasparina – Lake Garda (open until 4th November)

Lake Garda is known for its mild climate and numerous opportunities for active holidays, with Gardaland amusement park being a top attraction for families. In October, the park is decorated with pumpkins and hosts Halloween-themed events.

Just 12 km from the campsite, you can also visit the Park Natura Viva & Safari, where you can see the animals in a part of the park from your car or camper van.

The campsite Gasparina is also a great starting point for family cycling - you can cycle as far as Gardaland or to the famous tourist town of Sirmione (12 km), andand there's also an excellent Peschiera-Mantova cycle path (50km) that runs along the plain of the Mincio river, and then you can take the train back to Peschiera via Verona.  From the campsite you can also take a trip to Verona, 20 km away.

Camping Gasparina is new to the Baia Holiday portfolio, with renovated mobile homes this year. It's located on the southeastern side of the lake, 3 km from Peschiera del Garda and just 1 km from Gardaland. The campsite offers a shop, restaurant, children's playgrounds, and access to a walking and cycling path along the lake.

Camping price for two starts from €35, and mobile home rentals for four from €80.

Camping Roma Capitol (open year-round)

Rome is a year-round destination, and Baia Holiday's Roma Capitol campsite remains open all year long. Located 25 km from the city center of Rome, but there is bus and train connection close to the campsite. Nearby is the famous archaeological site of Ostia Antica, once a Roman port at the mouth of the Tiber River.

In autumn, guests can enjoy camping on well-maintained pitches or rent mobile homes. There’s a children's playground, sports fields (football, tennis, mini-golf), and bike rentals for exploring scenic routes along the river. The sandy beach and sea are just 3 km away

The campsite has a shop, restaurant, and bar, though outdoor pools are closed during autumn.

Camping price for two starts from €48, and mobile home rentals for four from €80.
