Basic information

Ravenna and its surroundings are well known among sandy beach lovers, and the Mare e Pineta campsite is one of many on this part of Italy's east coast.

It is a campsite offering everything from pitches to mobile homes, villas and apartments on 16 hectares. There are pitches for tents and larger ones for caravans and motorhomes, which also have water and electricity. Sanitary facilities are adapted for children and people with disabilities, and laundry facilities are also available.

The water park has 3 pools: a 25-metre pool and 2 smaller and shallow pools with games and water attractions, suitable for children. In addition to the pools, the campsite has a long sandy beach by the sea, which is slowly deepening, making it ideal for non-swimmers and playing water games. You can rent a parasol with sun loungers on the beach or bring your own towels and umbrellas. Children's entertainment and group exercise classes are organised both on the beach and by the pools. There are also 2 beach bars serving food and drinks.

In addition to the water activities mentioned above, guests can use the indoor and outdoor fitness facilities, the tennis and football courts, play beach volleyball, or rent bicycles or kayaks. The animation team also organises various games, shows, dance workshops and entertainment evenings.

We've already mentioned the beach bars, but of course the campsite also has a real Italian restaurant, also serving seafood and pizzas. There's a snack bar by the pool with burgers and other fast food, and, as befits Italy, there's a gelateria with excellent ice creams. There is also a deli, fruit and vegetable shop and a market.

As with the other campsites, we suggest day trips to Bologna, San Marino and Ferrara.
