Tourist Association of Slovenia has in its program My country – beautiful and hospitable, awarded tidiest towns, schools, tourist farms, terms and camps. This was already the 18th selection which was this year organized under the patronage of president of the Republic of Slovenia dr. Danilo Türk.

Tidy and hospitable environment are one of the precondition for successful development of tourism, which was also the main message of the event. Awarded tourist facilities will on various events abroad represent Slovenia in their segment which means additional promotion for Slovenia.

President of Tourist association Dominik S. Černjak was happy to tell that the whole project My country – beautiful and hospital has grown from competition to whole-country (informal) movement for tidy environment and hospital relations with all tourists.

Competition commission has divided Slovenian camps in three categories and selected three best in each.

Category larger camps:kamp šobec, camp sobec
1.    Camp Sobec
2.    Camp Bled
3.    Camp Ljubljana Resort

Category middle-sized camps:
1.    Camp Terme Ptuj
2.    Camp Terme Catez
3.    Camp Danica – Bohinjska Bistrica

Category smaller camps
1.    Camp Kamne, Dovje - Mojstrana
2.    Camp Koren, Kobarid
3.    Camp Dolina, Prebold
