The Aminess Style Camping Atea Resort has undergone extensive renovations since last autumn. Unfortunately, construction work has been delayed and will continue in the upper part of the campsite until at least mid-July. We visited the campsite to see what's new. See the first photos and a short video from the renovated Aminess campsite in Njivice.

Njivice on the island of Krk has been an interesting tourist destination for many years. On the outskirts of the town is the Aminess Style Atea Resort, which now has 260 camping pitches and 254 mobile homes and glamping cabins from the Slovenian company Adria Home from Črnomelj.

We visited the Aminess Style Atea Resort on Monday, June 23, 2025, to check on the progress of the works still underway at the campsite.

The lower part of the campsite is open, below the main road that runs through it. Works are still ongoing in the upper part, where the glamping cabins, camping pitches, a new water park, and a larger children's playground will be located. The pitches and cabins in the upper part are expected to open in early July, and the water park in mid-July.

The new shop, sports center with soccer fields, basketball courts, and a large outdoor fitness center are already open. In addition, a wellness center by the sea, which was renovated last year, is now also open, as are the seaside bar and restaurant on the side facing Njivice.

The campsite will be open until November 2.

Camping pitches at Aminess Style Camping Atea Resort

The campsite has been divided into three parts, with camping pitches located at the end of the campsite. Currently, there are 140 Luxury, Premium, and Superior pitches available, while work is still underway on the remaining 120 Comfort and Standard pitches in the upper part of the camp.

All pitches will be equipped with electricity, water, and drainage, and 12 pitches in the first row will also have a private heated swimming pool.

Two completely new sanitary facilities are already open next to the pitches, which also include children's toilets, family bathrooms, dog showers, a laundry room, and a children's playground. A third sanitary facility will be built in the upper part of the campsite.

Under the sanitary facility #2, a large communal swimming pool will soon be opened. A similar swimming pool is already available to guests in the mobile home village.

There is more shade on the pitches in the central part, while the part closer to the sea is sunnier.

Mobile home rental

At the reception the new mobile homes for 5 people have been available since mid-June. These are the latest Adria mobile home models with two bedrooms. The entire resort is vehicle-free, and guests are transported to their cabins by electric carts.

The mobile homes are 30, 34, and 40 m2 in size, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen with a living area, and a covered terrace. The village already has a large swimming pool, which is available to all camp guests.

The 31 Atea Sea Luxury Holiday mobile homes with private heated pools present the top end of the offer. They are located near the sea. These units measure 40m2, and there is also a luxury mobile villa at no. 375, which is 72 m2 in size and has a slightly larger pool.

Glamping Villas

In the upper part of the camp, near the water park, 50 Adria - Luxury Glamping Villas will be available in July. The villas have already been built, and work is still underway to landscape the surrounding area. 18 glamping villas will have their own private heated swimming pool.

The glamping villas will also sleep for 4 + 2 people and will have an area of 40 m2. They will have a stylish interior, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a covered terrace.

Sports, beach, wellness

At the very beginning of the camp, there is a renovated sports park with a large soccer field and basketball court, as well as a paddle tennis court and outdoor fitness area. Unfortunately, no tennis courts are available anymore.

There are no major changes on the beach itself. It is a combination of a pebble beach with rocky and concrete parts at the beginning, and a nicely arranged dog beach at the end of the campsite. There is shade at the beginning and in the central part of the beach, and morning shade at the far side of it. Inflatable trampoline park is available in the sea close to the beach, and SUP boards and kayaks can be rented.

There is a restaurant on the beach, and a fast food stand.

Last year, a wellness center with saunas, massages, and a beauty salon was arranged at the 'Stari Ribar' facility.
