If you don't want to give up camping even in winter, but don't have your own caravan or motorhome, you can choose a mobile home. The campsites listed below also offer cabins for New Year's Eve. Reserve one for your family, or several units for your entire group, and celebrate New Year's Eve by the sea together with other campers. On January 1 at 12 noon, we will all go for a New Year's swim in the sea.

Mobile homes in campsites are the perfect choice for your Christmas and New Year holidays. They are heated, have their own kitchen and bathroom, two or even three bedrooms and a terrace where you can enjoy yourselves outdoors when the weather is nice.

New Year's Eve parties are usually held on the terraces, and the mobile homes are decorated for the festive season beforehand.

In Croatia, several campsites offering mobile home rentals will remain open over the New Year. Most of them are located in Istria, with three such campsites in Kvarner and a few in Dalmatia. Two thermal campsites in Zagorje, Croatia, will also remain open.

The most interesting camps for New Year's Eve are those located near cities where concerts are held on the last days of the year. These include Poreč, Vrsar, Pula, Krk, Mali Lošinj, Zadar, Šibenik and Split.

As is already a tradition, there will be swimming in the sea at 12 noon on 1 January at the coastal campsites.

Campsites in Istria - New Year's mobile home rental

Camping San Servolo, Buje - open all year round

Near the town of Buje, the San Servolo wellness camp is open, offering guests who rent mobile homes the opportunity to swim in a heated outdoor pool (at a comfortable 30 degrees in winter), use the wellness center with saunas, relaxation rooms, jacuzzi, and fitness center, and enjoy massages. The building next to the camp has a heated indoor pool for adults only. The camp has a pizzeria, and the neighboring building has a restaurant serving local San Servolo beer.

Camping Polidor, Funtana - open all year round

A small campsite, but very nicely arranged with a children's playground, a wellness center that you can rent and enjoy the jacuzzi and sauna, and they also offer mobile homes for rent with a private heated pool or jacuzzi.

The location is halfway between Poreč and Funtana, about 500 m from the sea, and is great for walking and cycling. For New Year's Eve, they organize a local market and a New Year's Eve celebration at noon, and it is also close to Poreč, where every year they organize an Advent market and a large outdoor New Year's Eve celebration.

Valamar Camping Istra, Funtana - open until 9.11. and than 19.12. - 4.1.

An excellent choice for family holiday camping in mobile homes, as the camp offers children's entertainment and indoor playrooms. During Advent, several restaurants will be open at the campsite, and transport will be organized to the nearby Hotel Diamant in Poreč, where guests can enjoy the indoor pool, wellness center, and fitness center. As the hotel is also expecting many guests, prior notification of swimming at the camp reception will be required. The camp's location is ideal for walking or cycling by the sea, and there are illuminated sports fields (basketball, soccer, table tennis, fitness) and mini golf.

The price of renting a mobile home over the New Year starts at €82. These are modern homes for 4-6 people with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a large terrace with a large barbecue. Camping Porto Sole, Vrsar - open all year round

An excellent campsite located near Vrsar, where there is also a festive market on weekends, and an ice rink is usually set up in the old part of town. The campsite also organizes some festive entertainment, Santa Claus swimming, New Year's Eve celebrations at noon, and in addition to the renovated sanitary facilities, they also have wellness bathrooms with a sauna or jacuzzi.

The camp has several mobile homes, but only 20 are open during the winter, located near the reception, which have better insulation and are more suitable for staying in colder weather. The homes are quickly fully booked for New Year's Eve, but are available before that, with a rental price starting at €85 per night.

Camp Arena Stoja - open all year round

Camp Arena Stoja is constantly being updated and improved. Among other things, it recently added a heated sanitary facility with private bathrooms, and the restaurant will be open all year round. It is extremely popular with dog owners, who are well catered for at the campsite. For an additional fee, dogs are also allowed in mobile homes. You can walk to the center of Pula or take the city bus, which stops at the reception. The beautiful Lungomare seaside promenade is also nearby, along which you can walk or cycle all the way to the Verudela peninsula.

The campsite offers mobile homes or camping villas, which are modernly furnished and can accommodate up to 4-6 people. Around New Year's Eve, renting a mobile home costs from €245 per night, and for December weekends from €110 per night.

Camp Arena Grand Kažela - open all year round

Another Arena campsite near Pula is Grand Kažela, which is now open all year round. This large camp south of Medulin has significantly revamped its offerings in recent years, which now include several swimming pools, restaurants, sports fields, entertainment, and, of course, top-of-the-line mobile homes, some with private pools on the terraces.

For New Year's Eve, you can choose between three types of mobile homes. All have two bedrooms, while the larger homes right next to the beach also have two bathrooms. Prices start at around €140 per night.

Campsites in Kvarner - Advent & New Year on Krk and Lošinj

Camp Omišalj, island of Krk - open all year round

During Advent, the town of Omišalj is always beautifully decorated, the Christmas market is open, and various events and concerts are organized. The Omišalj campsite will also be open all year round this year. It is a modern campsite with many sunny pitches and mobile homes. Guests will have access to outdoor playground equipment and a mini zoo with domestic animals, but there will be no additional entertainment activities at the campsite itself.

New Year's mobile home rental at the Omišalj campsite for up to 4-6 people costs from €72 per night for mobile homes in the central part of the campsite, while mobile homes in the first row (Deluxe seaview) cost from €108 per night.

Valamar Camping Ježevac, Krk - open until January 4

Every year, the town of Krk organizes a variety of Advent events with a market and concerts, which take place mostly on weekends, and a festive program will also be organized from Christmas to New Year's Eve. The campsite is located right next to the town of Krk, making it an excellent choice for New Year's camping. During the holidays, the campsite's restaurant will be open, there will be some children's entertainment, and guests will also have access to heated sanitary facilities.

For New Year's Eve, they are offering a 10% discount, so you can ring in 2026 for around €100/night in a mobile home with two bedrooms and a beautiful view of the sea.

Camping Čikat, Lošinj - open all year round

Camping Čikat is one of the most popular camps for New Year's Eve. It is located near the town of Mali Lošinj, where a market is held in the second half of December, as well as concerts and outdoor New Year's Eve celebrations with live music on weekends. The campsite has a restaurant and a shop, and there are sports fields available. They also organize a New Year's Eve dinner for campsite guests (additional charge). On the first day of the year, there is a traditional swim in the sea at 12 noon.

The location of the Camping Čikat is also perfect for walks by the sea, bike rides, or swimming at the Punta hotel in Veli Lošinj (free of charge).

The mobile homes at Camping Čikat are modern and come in several different types with two or three bedrooms. Dogs are allowed in certain homes for an additional fee. Rental prices start at €84 per night.

New Year's camping in Dalmatia

Camp Falkensteiner Premium Zadar - open all year round

Camp Falkensteiner Premium is located in the northern part of Zadar, providing guests with easy access to the city center. There will be lots of holiday activities and entertainment at the campsite. The restaurant will be open and also wellness center (saunas, heated small pool, fitnes) but only for adults. For families will be open every day from 9am to 11am. There is also a hotel next to the campsite, where camp guests will be able to swim in the indoor heated pool - there is an additional charge of €10 per person. The additional charge for the hotel wellness center with pool is €20 per adult.

In December, there is a lot going on in the center of Zadar, with concerts and market stalls, and a large outdoor New Year's Eve celebration. The city can be reached by city bus or taxi, or you can also go by bike.

For renting a mobile home for New Year's, they are currently offering a 10% discount, so a smaller home (for 2+1 people) costs around €128, renting a larger mobile home with two bedrooms for 4+1 people costs €152, and a mobile home with three bedrooms for 6+1 people costs €179 per night.

Amadria Park Šibenik, Šibenik - open all year round

Camp Amadria Šibenik is 6 km from the center of Šibenik, where there will be an Advent market with concerts on weekends and an ice rink. Last year, the Amadria tourist resort opened the indoor section of the Aquapark Dalmacija water park, which includes pools, water games, slides, and a wellness center. Ticket prices for camp guests from Sunday to Thursday are €20 for adults and children taller than 120 cm, and €10 for children between 90 and 120 cm tall. On Fridays and Saturdays, prices are higher, at €30 and €15, respectively. Children under 90 cm tall are admitted free of charge.

The Amadria Šibenik campsite also offers a wide range of mobile homes and apartments, which will also be available for New Year's Eve. You can choose between smaller houses for 5 people with two bedrooms or houses with three bedrooms for 6 people. House rental prices start at €65 per night, while apartment prices (for 4 or 5 people) start at €54.

Camping Stobreč, Split - open all year round

Camping Stobreč, located in the southern part of Split, will also be open for the New Year. During the Christmas and New Year period, the camp offers a wellness center with a jacuzzi and saunas, and is located next to a pebble beach. The camp's restaurant is also open in winter. The town can be reached by bike, but the city bus or taxi is an even better option.

There is a lot of holiday events in Split in December, with several outdoor ice rinks set up and numerous concerts and outdoor New Year's Eve celebrations organized.

Camping Stobreč offers modern mobile homes for 4-6 people with spacious terraces. Most of the homes have 2 bedrooms, and some have 3. Dogs are allowed in the homes for an additional fee.

Campsite Lavanda, Orebić - Pelješac - open all year round

This modern campsite just outside Orebić on terraced land offers pitches and mobile homes. It also has well-maintained and heated sanitary facilities. The campsite is open all year round. A variety of mobile homes are available, but those with a jacuzzi or private heated pool, where the water is heated to 24 °C, are particularly appealing for the New Year.

The price of renting a mobile home for 4+2 people starts at €90, for mobile homes with a jacuzzi the price starts at €110, and mobile homes with a private heated pool cost from €135.

New Year in mobile homes in Croatian region Zagorje

In the Zagorje region, we have two thermal campsites that are open all year round and offer festive New Year's camping and mobile home rentals.

Camping Vita,Terme Tuhelj - open all year round

An excellent campsite with modern mobile homes and renovated indoor pools and wellness facilities. The spa complex also includes a restaurant, a bar, a children's playroom, and during the holidays they also organize entertainment and New Year's Eve celebrations. On the last day of the year, they usually organize evening swimming in the pools.

Terme Tuhelj has mobile homes for 2, 4, or 6 people, and there is also a small wellness center next to the mobile home park, which is reserved exclusively for guests staying in the mobile homes. Swimming in the pools is included in the price of renting a mobile home.

Camping Terme Jezerčica, Donja Stubica - open all year round

A slightly smaller spa, which has been renovated in recent years, with a campsite with mobile homes next to the hotel. The spa has indoor and outdoor pools, several children's water playgrounds, a wellness center, and a restaurant.

The mobile homes are spacious enough for 4+2 people, and the rental price includes swimming passes. Pets are also allowed for an additional fee. Guests staying in mobile homes also have access to the hotel's restaurant.
