Slovenia has 6 camps on its coast, stretching from Ankaran to Lucija. Camps differ to a great extend and we decided for their short comparison, including their prices.

Leading in quality is camp Adria in Ankaran, where guests can chooses between 560 pitches and 27 fully equipped mobile homes. Camping welcomes all campers - those with tents, caravans and campers, as pitches are arranged on grass and have pretty good shade of high trees. Guests can have a swim in the sea as well as in inner and outdoor swimming pool. For sports activities they can use courts for tennis, volleyball, basketball and football. Kids will have fun on children's playground, one being on the beach as well. In high season animation for youth is organized as well.

Size and quality-wise next to describe is camp Lucija, located next to marina in Portoroz. For this season they newly arranged pitches intended especially to the campers, while new terrace was built for 20 new tent places. From 550 pitches equipped with electricity 204 have also water connection. Additionally, campers have new supply station, while children have new playground on the beach.

For camp Fiesa it can be said that mainly permanent guests are staying there. There are only 30-35 camping places available for tents, but there is not electricity connection. Novelty for this season is wireless internet that is available for 5€ per week.

Camping Belvedere is located above town Izola and can host up to 500 guests. Pitches are divided on three parts; the bes shaded part is occupied mainly by permanent guests, the other two parts are partly shaded by some trees and olive trees. Guests can use outer swimming pool, walk through nice paths to SImonov bay or take free hotel minibus to the beach.

In town Strunjan you will find that found kamp Strunjan its place between main road and the sea. Most of the guests are permanent, there are around 50 places for tents with electricity available.

Camp Jadranka can host up to 400 people and has found its place at the entrance to the town Izola. Unfortunately, the main road between Koper and Portoroz is there is by-passing it. Most of the guests are permanent and spend most of the weekends there.

Price comparison for season 2011
We prepared a short comparison of camping prices of some camps in along Slovenian coastline That prices would be as comparable as possible, we took calculated prices in the high season for family – two adults and two children (four and eleven years). Price includes pitch with electricity and vehicle.

In comparison we included prices of an average price for pitch that are offered in camps by Slovenian sea. In our comparison we did not take into account pitches with additional option of water connection and sewage system. We have also not taken into account pitches by the beach that are more expensive. Neither tourist tax nor registration fee are included in the price. Some camps have various pitch prices within a zone, therefore we included both prices.

Camp Lucija (Portoroz) 40 - 48 EUR Children up to 7 years camp for free. Price of the pitch and adults depends on location of the pitch. Higher price is paid for zone by the sea and includes also water connection.
Camp Adria (Ankaran) 51,25 EUR Children up to 2 years camp for free, while until 10 years pay half of price for adults.
Camp Fiesa (Piran) 36,74 EUR Price for camping of an adult depend whether they are staying in tent or camper/caravan. Children up to 10 years pay for camping in a tent 3,74 EUR.
Camp Strunjan 43 EUR Children up to 7 years stay for free, older pay price for adults.
Camp Jadranka (Izola) 35,60 EUR For camping children up to 14 years pay 6 EUR per night.
Camp Belvedere (Izola) 37 - 45 EUR Price for camping of adults depends on location of the pitch. Children up to 4 years camp for free.
