The beach Zlatni rat on the island of Brač is one of Europe's top five beaches in the opinion of the British daily newspaper The Daily Telegraph, which says that the sandy beaches stand out as one of the jewels of the Adriatic Sea. Apart from Zlatni rat, the British journalists were fascinated by several other Croatian beaches that they recommended to tourists. One of them is Usamljena plaža (lonely beach) near the beautiful Rovinj.
