Camping inspectors of German auto-club ADAC in 2010 visited more than 5.400 camps all around Europe. Among them was also 19 Slovenian camps. Inspectors pay attention to the service quality in five categories: sanitaries, pitches, richness of the additional services (shops, bars, restaurants), free time facilities and animation. Best possible award is 'Superplatz', that is given to the camp that gets at least four stars in all the categories. Only 79 camps in Europe are that good, but one Slovenian came quite close to it.
Camp Terme Čatež is for the second year in a row best graded camp in Slovenia. In category free time facilities and animation they got five stars, as the only one received also four stars for sanitary facilities. Camp Terme Catez received 21 points out of 25 possible and as the only one in Slovenia received award 'yellow board', meaning that their services and offers have been significantly improved since last inspection.
