Camping Bled - Best campsite in the active holiday category

Camping Bled in last year made excellent summer results, despite not very promising year for tourism. Even though weather in June and start of July was quite bad and the occupancy rate decreased much, the campsite in summer made almost 90.000 overnight stays, which was at last year’s level. In August, the campsite broke a record of 33.000 overnight stays, or 15% more than last year!

Even though weather in June and start of July was quite bad and the occupancy rate decreased much, the campsite in summer made almost 90.000 overnight stays, which was at last year’s level. In August, the campsite broke a record of 33.000 overnight stays, or 15% more than last year!
In spring, just before the opening, comprehensive works were finished in the campsite, which included levelling the ground so that all tent pitches were arranged to comply with the categorisation regulations. A part of the campsite was forested with autochthon bushes and trees.
After the peak season finished, certain parts was repeatedly grassed so that the campsite will welcome guests tidy and green in the coming season. This year the offer of entertainment and sports was further expanded which met with a wide response. Certain children programmes were attended by even more than 60 participants.
Owing to all improvements and satisfaction of guests, the campsite was awarded by British – Dutch camping guide Alan Rogers as the best campsite in the active holiday category! We are glad that also foreign camping experts have recognized and awarded Slovenian camp endeavors to ensure pleasure and sports activities for each and every guest in their camp - they are even offering lower prices of camping for cyclists and golf players.
Location of the camp enables various sport activities, such as hiking, jogging around the Bled Lake, rafting, kayaking, back hors ridding, playing golf. There are also some activities for adrenaline lovers, such as canyoning, summer tobogganing, discovering neighbourhood with balloon or aero-taxi.
