Camp Koren in Kobarid invites guests to their camp and wooden houses during the whole year

Camp Koren is located 500m from the centre of Kobarid; right after the Napoleon bridge in direction of Dreznica. It is the oldest camp in Soca valley and is opened through the whole year. Last season they added 6 wooden houses, which offer comfortable stay up to six persons. Each house has kitchen, living room, two double rooms, bathroom, balcony and veranda. All houses are of course heated.

Camp has four stars, which means that it offers the best of Slovenian tourism in camping. It has 70 arranged pitches, where you can set tent, caravan or camper and are equipped with electricity connection. In camp you can use two heated sanitary blocks where you fill find as well washing and drying machine. In cold winter days, guests will be as well happy to use Finnish sauna where they will warm up. Camp complex has also mini shop, bar and wireless access to internet.
While most of the guests are sport lovers, you will easily find first recreation in camp at the beach volley court, table tennis, bowling track or at the climbing wall. Here is also good sta
rting point for cycling and you can just rent a bike in camp. For children they have well arranged children’s playground with toboggan. Additionally, you can decide to go paragliding from airfields on Kuk, Planica or Stol.
Similarly, hikers will find something for themselves as well as Kobarid with its neighbourhood offers numerous options starting right in camp Koren. One of the most popular is a road along the front line from the 1st world war. After all these sport activities you can have a walk through Kobarid and visit museum on 1st world war. Surely, you can not miss some gastronomic specialities!
